By downloading, installing, or using the VerseUp mobile application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. The App is operated by Benlottejnr Apps ("we", "us", "our").
You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account and use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement. If you are between 13 and 18 years old, you confirm that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account, and to keep this information up to date. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
You agree to use the App only for its intended purpose of Bible verse memorisation and learning. You agree not to:
The App allows you to add your own verses and customise your profile. You retain ownership of any content you submit. However, by submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, display, and process that content solely for the purpose of operating the App.
You are solely responsible for the content you submit. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or applicable law. For copyright-related concerns, please see our DMCA Policy.
The App includes Bible text from licensed and public domain translations. Use of Bible text within the App is subject to the terms of the applicable licences. You may not extract, redistribute, or commercially use Bible text obtained through the App.
VerseUp offers both a free tier and an optional paid subscription. Paid subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to the pricing displayed at the time of purchase.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the end of the current billing period. You can manage and cancel your subscription through your device's app store settings.
Refunds are handled by the respective app store (Apple or Google) in accordance with their refund policies. We do not process refunds directly. If you have a billing issue, please contact the app store through which you made your purchase.
The App, its design, features, code, branding, and all related materials are the property of Benlottejnr Apps and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the App without our prior written consent.
The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the App's availability, reliability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Benlottejnr Apps shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the service. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time. See our Account Deletion page for details.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice within the App. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
