Request permanent deletion of your VerseUp account and the data attached to it.
When you delete your account, we permanently remove:
Once your account is deleted, it cannot be recovered. Custom collections you authored will be removed for everyone enrolled in them. Aggregate, anonymized records that no longer identify you (e.g. an XP total that contributed to last month's leaderboard) may remain in our analytics.
For your protection we ask you to send the request from the email address tied to your account. We verify the sender matches before we touch any data.
It prevents someone else from deleting your account by knowing your username. Sending from the account email is a one-step proof of ownership that works without requiring you to log in (useful if you've lost access).
Send your request to:
Confirmation that the sender matches the account on file.
You'll get a reply from us confirming the request is in the queue.
Your account row and all associated learning data is permanently removed from the production database.
A closing email so you have a paper trail.
If you're leaving because of a bug, a missing feature, or something that didn't work for you — we'd genuinely love to hear it. A quick note to verseup-support@benlottejnr.org goes a long way toward making VerseUp better for the next person.
If you have any questions about the deletion process or any aspect of your data, see our Privacy Policy or write to verseup-privacy@benlottejnr.org.
